Dog Bark Park Inn – a stay inside the 30 foot tall Beagle
Hello from Dog Bark Park that is included in Top 20 Most Fun & Exciting Places to Stay by The Times! Dennis & Frances, husband and wife, are also chainsaw artists who have been working at Dog Bark Park since 1997. They created over 60 different dog’s breeds in folk-art style wooden carvings! One day Dennis wondered if they have already made 12-foot-tall pretty beagle, why not make a 30-foot-tall one? Today the name of this huge wooden Dog is Sweet Willy.
Sweet Willy opened its doors for everyone who wants to spend a night inside the Dog on August 1, 2003. Dennis and Frances say in their blog that people are fascinated with their “Big Dog Building” and an opportunity to invite the world to stay in it! There are all important facilities for guests and their quality time spending. A bedroom is in Dog’s belly, a loft in his head, a bathroom in his rear. B&B has no TV, but WiFi was added in 2016. Hosts explained their main purpose was to give a chance to disconnect from the outside and enjoy everything around.

What makes Sweet Willy special?
Sweet Willy is the world’s only dog-shaped hotel. Although people from all over the world expect Dennis to build another Dogs, however, the couple decided to keep the only one. Lots of people stop by and enjoy this unique and weird hotel almost every day. In addition, Sweet Willy offers picnic tables, garden, coffee and toasts and even a special fireplug for everyone who would like to spend some time there!
Dog Bark Park inn is available from April till October. Therefore guests should check preferable dates in advance. Moreover if you want to make a great present to someone who you love, you can buy cute and unique wooden carved dogs in owner’s gift shop or even make an order online with your dog’s photo!
